Overview

The app sends two kinds of email automatically: a confirmation email to the customer, and a notification email to you. The Email sender and Notifications sections of Settings let you control how these appear and where they’re delivered.

Who gets which email

Confirmation email (to customer)

Sent when a customer confirms a withdrawal. It contains their declaration, the items, a reference number, and the timestamp. This email is the durable legal record of the withdrawal.

Notification email (to you)

Sent at the same time so you know a new withdrawal has arrived and can start processing it.

Email sender settings

These control how the confirmation email appears to your customers:
The name customers see as the sender. Defaults to your shop’s name. Up to 255 characters.
The address that receives replies if a customer responds to the confirmation email. Defaults to the shop owner’s email.

Notification settings

The address where withdrawal alerts are sent. We recommend setting this to whoever handles customer service or refunds. If you leave it blank, alerts fall back to your reply-to email.
Send notifications to a shared inbox (like [email protected]) so withdrawals aren’t missed if one person is away.

If a confirmation email fails

Occasionally an email can’t be delivered (for example, a mistyped address). When this happens:
  • The customer still sees their on-screen receipt and can print or save it.
  • The withdrawal’s compliance status shows Confirmation email failed.
  • You can open the request and click Resend confirmation email to try again.
